Tell me something about Tiger Express

  • Tiger Express is the first Balikbayan and Commercial Boxes company in Bangkok that offers shipping services from Thailand to the Philippines and vice versa via AIR and SEA freight. It is our focus is to provide a service that will level up the effectiveness and efficiency of our clients to their family member/s, customer, receivers, and alike, without compromising the articles they entrusted to us.

What is the difference between Commercial and Balikbayan boxes?

  • Commercial Box is for business or any items that are for sale or trade while a Balikbayan box is for personal effects only and can’t be mixed up with any commercial items.

How much is the Balikbayan Box?  Commercial Box? Is there a minimum weight?

  • For the Balikbayan box, the client must provide the exact place in Thailand because our pricing depends on the place of origin and the destination to the Philippines.
  • For the Commercial box, the client must inform our representative what specific items you wish to send and where is the destination to the Philippines our pricing depends on whichever is higher either the volumetric weight or the actual weight.
  • Our minimum weight requirements for Commercial boxes are as follows:
  • Small box, 25 kg within the Bangkok area and 30 kg outside Bangkok. Our commercial pricing depends on (destination) is THB/KG;
  • Medium and Large boxes, 45 kg. Our commercial pricing depends on (destination) is THB/KG, and
  • Oversized Box 70 kg. Our commercial pricing depends to (destination) is THB/KG.
  • Free pick up within Bangkok.

What are the prohibited items?

  • Radioactive materials, Fireworks and ammunitions, Jewelry and billions, Corrosives, compressed gases, Illegal goods, Flammable, Injectables, and Toxic items are not allowed.

What is your Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA)?

  • Please do note our lead time from the sailing/departure date and this is subject to change depending on the schedule of release from PH and TH customs. Sea Cargo

Cut off dates?

We have cut off every Monday, both for Sea and Air Cargo.

Free pick-up?

  • Yes, we have free pick up within the Bangkok area only. Clients outside Bangkok are subject to pay the specific Area or Outlet rate/s.

How much is your empty box?

  • The following are the empty boxes rate;
    • Small- 120B
    • Medium- 150B
    • Large- 200B
    • Oversized- 250B

What are the requirements to be submitted?

  • We will be needing a copy of your passport or any valid I.D. with a signature, a picture of your commodities, and the packing list with declared value and quantity.

Are there any additional charges?

  • We provide all-in service, meaning there are no additional charges. Everything is already included in your shipping cost. We offer door-to-door delivery anywhere in the Philippines.

How to drop off items at your warehouse?

  • Kindly drop off your box/es at this warehouse address: 96 (The Gate No.4) Moo 7, Lat Krabang, Lat Krabang, Bangkok 10520, and look for Mr. Kevin Baniqued/ Khun Nik or Khun Tammy.  We are open from Monday – to Saturday: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm.

How to track my shipment?

What about updates and follow-ups?

  • Area/Outlet Manager is the key person to answer the status updates. However, you can still follow up and check the status of your shipment/s by yourself by giving us your trucking number, name, and packing list.

What about the commercial rates?

  • We will be needing the dimension (L x W x H) and the actual weight of your article or boxes for us to provide the estimated rate. Please be advised that we have a minimum weight for our commercial shipments. 

Are you going to open the box once received at your warehouse? If so, how certain are you to pack it back and secure the same contents therein? 

  • Tiger Express has all the rights to inspect fully the boxes and the effects inside. Tiger Express exercises due diligence in opening and sealing it back safely. The warehouse staff will coordinate the opening of your box/es and will provide pre, during, and post pictures for your reassurance.
